Alun-alun, or city center in Indonesian, is a modern retail space in Grand Indonesia mall that curates the finest and most unique of Indonesia’s handicrafts. Here, you can also find authentic Indonesian food at Pala Lada, and Olah Oleh, a spot to get Indonesia’s authentic and sometimes rare coffees, spices, and other food produces. The prices are on the premium side, but with that you’ll also get quality and one of a kind products. Come here if you are looking for totally unique pieces.
Famous as the place to go for Indonesian souvenir hunting in Jakarta. With an entire floor dedicated for handicrafts, including wood carvings, silveworks, and weaving from all over Indonesia, and another entirely for batiks, this place has it all. One drawback, all the prices have been marked up at least twice from normal price. We suggest you to only come here if you have absolutely no more time to hunt!

Directly managed by the State Ministry of Cooperatives & SMEs, this store is dedicated to showcase Indonesia’s quality products from all 34 provinces in Indonesia, spread in 4 floors. The place claims to only mark the price up about 25%, but to be sure, you’ll have to see for yourself!
