The Music
While no one wants to know how sausage gets made, Penn Six can tell you that breathing life into this mass of meat was a long, hard, and messy experience. Six amputations, four decapitations, and three otherwise unsolved homicides later, Penn Six is proud to present a brand-spankin new album. Sausage Party: Best of the Wurst is our latest, hamster friendly collection of songs, fully engorged with Good Musical Spirit. Look for it at a meat shop near you. 1996’s Stickability won Best Male Album of the year as well as claiming Best Song (”I Ran”) and first-runner up for Best Song (”New Age Girl”). The kind folks in charge of BOCA (Best of College A Cappella) had this to say: “Penn Six is a group best known for their bawdy humor and raucous shows, but ‘Stickability’ proves them to also be masters of the recorded medium… the album glistens with energy, dynamic performances, fun songs, and hilarious lyrics… It’s the rare collegiate track that receives repeated airplay on a major metropolitan radio station, but Penn Six’s hilarious lyrics to the Flock of Seagulls’ classic made the difference…these guys have proven themselves the kings of a cappella sendups.”

Penn Six’s first studio recording. According to legal documents recently obtained from the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office: “Information on Two Lanes to New Jersey is sparse, except that it came in over budget, late, and that the only official record is in the Philadelphia Small Claims Court, ‘Case dismissed!.’” That official record, sadly, was destroyed in the Great Blaze of ‘69.
